Longido District Council-Arusha, Tanzania

Longido District Council is one of six districts in the Arusha District of Tanzania. It was created in 2007 from part of Mondoli County. The administrative headquarters is the city of Longido. Mount Longido is located within the boundaries of the region. According to the 2012 census, the district’s population was 123,153.

For parliamentary elections, Arusha Region is divided into constituencies. As of the 2010 elections Longido District had one constituency, Longido Constituency.
