In the early 1980’s, the shareholders of BUMACO, a private company of business management advisors, envisioned the idea of providing insurance services to its clients as an added value to its core. Bumako Insurance Agency was established. In 1999 the agency was transformed into a broker. In 2008 Bumaco Insurance Brokers gave way to a full-fledged insurance company, a rapidly developing insurance company of all time.
Bumaco Insurance Company Ltd has over 30 years of experience in the insurance business and is duly registered with 100% of its shares in Tanzania. The company exists to provide non-life insurance services with certainty.
Our longstanding practice in the insurance field has given us an opportunity to build competence through extensive training and application of global best practices to our clients.
We have opened nine branches backed by a network of carefully selected brokers and agents, all of whom guarantee services to a large segment of Tanzania
