The Minjingu phosphate deposit is located 106 km southwest of Arusha, Tanzania along the Arusha Dudoma motorway. Out of Guano-gymano, and therefore biological in nature, is believed to be formed during the soldier’s age of residue and birds Flamengo, which is dwelling with millions of Lake Manyara million million years ago. Some birds still live in the lake so far.
Minjingu deposit was discovered in 1956 of mine mines, South Africa, which was conducting a geophysical survey over the lake area. After many field surveys and detailed laboratory analyzes for samples taken from the region, a legal mining company was established on behalf of MIPCO under the auspices of the Tanzania Mining Corporation (STAMICO). The main roles of the company were mines and treatment of Minggu Phosphate (MPR), and provide them with Tanzania Fertilizer (TFC) factory in Tangier where they were processed in chemical phosphate fertilizers such as SSP and Phosphate Phosphate (TSP).
