Nyanzaga Gold Project
The Nyanzaga project is a gold development project with a very large gold resource of 3.07 million ounces with a high grade of 4.03 g/ton of gold. Extensive drilling (2,665 holes versus 276.911 m) has identified this large resource and there is great potential for extensions of known mineralization both in depth and regionally. The project area is covered by 22 research and application licenses covering a combined area of 210 square kilometers in northwest Tanzania in East Africa. The application for a private mining license was made on the Nyanzaga deposit and parts of the surrounding licenses covering 23.4 square kilometers. The project is located in the green stone area of Lake Victoria Goldfields, about 60 km southwest of Mwanza, 60 km east of the Gita (Anglogold Ashanti) gold mine and 30 km northeast of the Polyanhulu gold mine (Barrick Gold).
