Xanadu Villas & Retreat is located on one of the best beaches on the southeast coast of Zanzibar. We offer seven unique and individually designed villas within a tropical garden and palm trees. All villas are available exclusively with all inclusive, all meals and drinks (soft drinks, beer, cider, spirits, white and red house wine, excluding premiums) plus a world-class chef. Our guests will enjoy our kitchen with local spices, vegetables and herbs grown in our own garden with carefully selected wines from around the world.
Each villa has a private butler and features a seating area, plunge pool, refrigerator, outdoor shower, bathroom(s) with sinks, linen and towels, daily housekeeping and laundry, and internet/Wi-Fi. Four of our villas have a spacious lounge and kitchen and three of our villas have direct beach access. The on-site Activities Manager will assist our guests in arranging any activities, water sports or island excursions. Guided activities including kayaking, snorkeling and windsurfing from Xanadu Beach are included in the rates. At our Kiota Spa, guests can enjoy different treatments to feel completely rejuvenated and refreshed.
Xanadu offers three two-bedroom villas and three one-bedroom villas. Kimwondo Villa (1BR) has indoor and outdoor seating areas and features a gorgeous deck with pool and sitting area with views of the Indian Ocean. The Mlima and Korongo Villa (2 BR) features private bathrooms, spacious lounge areas and a private plunge pool. Located on the beach, Mbingu Presidential Villa (2 BR) has two bedrooms with ocean-view balconies, private bathrooms, sitting areas, a majestic lounge and two private plunge pools, one on the second floor.
The comfortable Villa Umande (one bedroom) is located on the beachfront and has indoor and outdoor seating areas, a private bathroom and a private plunge pool. Next to Villa Umande is Villa Al Fujairy (1 bedroom) which is actually our honeymoon suite. The beachfront villa has one bedroom, spacious lounge, private plunge pool and a romantic balcony overlooking the ocean.
