How to Open a Computer Program
Now that you have a computer, you’ll probably want to run and manage software, from software that manages your money to a great animated bingo game. By using the best ways to access and run programs on your computer, you save time and make your life easier.
You can open or run a program using any of the following four methods:
- Choose Start → All Programs. Click the program name in the All Programs list that appears. See the list of programs. Just click on the program in that submenu to open it.
2. Double-click the program’s shortcut icon on the desktop.
3. Click an item on the taskbar. The taskbar should be displayed by default; If it doesn’t, press the Windows logo key (on your keyboard) to display it and then click the icon in the taskbar, to the right of the Start button.
4. If you used the program recently and saved a document, choose it from the list of recently used programs displayed when you first open the Start menu. Then click on a document created in this program from the menu that appears.
When the app opens, if it’s a game, play it; If it is a spreadsheet, enter the numbers in it; If it’s your email program, start deleting junk mail. . . You found the idea.
