MHS-Massana Hospital was founded in 1995, by the late Prof.R.S.M Lema MD, MMED(O/G) FBRH. The hospital has progressively continued to develop into a small modern teaching hospital. Its college of nursing established in 2005 is growing fast in the health sector. The hospital has continued to operate as the only privately owned hospital in Northern Kinondoni District.
Massana Hospital is one of the pioneers professional private Regional Hospital in Dar es Salaam, which is located in Mbezi Beach, off Bagamoyo road along Goba Road.
