An introduction
In an introductory paragraph, you need to write a brief summary of your topic. You also need to clarify your position on this topic, which is called the thesis statement. This means that you have to come up with a main idea for the paper. The thesis statement should be placed in the first paragraph of the essay. It should be a sentence that is easy for readers to remember.
The introductory paragraph should be no more than three sentences long. It should provide information on the topic of the essay, and it should also set out the arguments to be developed in the following paragraphs.

The body
In the body paragraphs, you’ll actually discuss your point of view – so you’ll need to provide facts, statistics, examples, and explanations. Each body paragraph should discuss one aspect of your argument.
Identify the different points you will discuss in three or four paragraphs. Remember that every paragraph should contain an opening sentence (this will be the first sentence of the paragraph) and that you should fully develop your idea/argument within each paragraph. Your points may also be listed as numbered titles, if this helps you keep track of what you want to cover.
Conclusion
The final paragraph in your essay will be a concluding paragraph where you will summarize all of the things you discussed in the essay and explain why they are important or interesting.
Summarize all the main points of your essay and draw a conclusion. Conclude with a strong statement or question that makes the reader think about what they just read.

List all references that were used to support your argument/ideas and include any quotes in the article.
