The President of the United Republic of Tanzania issued a Notice of Attribution of Ministerial Responsibilities (Instrument) Video Government Notice No. 384 and 385 of May 7, 2021 In this instrument, the President established the Ministry of Works and Transport which is mandated to formulate and monitor the implementation and implementation of Works, Construction, Transport and Transport Policies. The ministry is also responsible for roads, bridges, ferries, mechanical matters, public works and government buildings; Engineering and design work, materials laboratory, airport development. Civil Aviation Transport License; road, sea, air and rail transport; Ports and harbors, transportation safety and security; meteorology; Improving performance and developing human resources within the framework of this ministry; Non-ministerial departments, quasi-governmental organizations, agencies and projects of this ministry.
Ministry Responsibilities
According to Government Notice No. 385 issued on May 5, 2021, the Ministry is tasked with managing-
