Kilindi District Council is one of the 10 districts of Tanga Region in Tanzania. It is bordered by Handeni district on the east, Kilimanjaro Region on the west-north and Morogoro Region on the south.
In 2012 it had 236,833 residents living in 20 counties of the district.
The district headquarters is located in Songe Ward.
