How to Peel and Cube a Mango

Cubed mangoes make a great addition to everything from chutney to fruit salad. And slicing mango couldn’t be easier. You can cube mangoes in two ways, actually. This method involves peeling the mango and then peeling it into cubes:
>>> Peel the mango peel.
You can use a vegetable peeler instead of a paring knife.
Peeled mangoes are very slippery, so be extra careful with your knife! Keep paper towels nearby to dry your hands while you work.
>>> Use the chef’s knife to cut the mango in half.
Cut slices along each flat side of the large hole.

>> Place the mango pieces on a cutting board and cut them into parallel slices.

You can add mango slices to the fruit platter if you like.
>>> Cut the mango slices at a 90 degree angle to make cubes.
Use the mango cubes in a sauce or as a starting point for a mango fondue
