Tanzania Employment Services Agency (TaESA) is an executive agency established on 1 July 2008 by G.N. 189 of 2008 under the Executive Agencies Law. Cap 245 R.E. 2002 for the purpose of improving the provision of public services, creating an environment conducive to effective and efficient administration, and improving the quality of employment services that were provided by the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Youth Development at that time.
Main functions of TaESA
Connecting job seekers to job opportunities, coordinating, facilitating and controlling cross-border employment services, collecting, analyzing and disseminating labor market information (LMI) to stakeholders and the general public, providing job search skills training, career guidance, career counseling, and advising on issues related to employment services
