Registration For Matric Rewrite 2022: Matric Rewrite Department Of Education
This was announced by DBE on its official Twitter account on social media.
Who is qualified to write the Higher National Certificate Exam?
- Current Grade 12 learners
- Anyone wishing to improve their previous NSC results and who is still a candidate for NSC (i.e. whose degree has not been changed to SC) can register as a part-time candidate for NSC exams.
The minimum requirements for obtaining a national postgraduate degree are as follows:
- Achieving 40% in three subjects, one of which is an official language at the home language level and 30% in three subjects.
- Provide complete guides in the SBA component on the topics presented.
Candidates whose examination results have been withheld due to irregularities are entitled to appeal the ruling.
In addition, they can inquire, preferably in writing, asking for reasons for withholding their results and can also contact their district office or school for assistance.
As the Higher Certificate exams are only written in May/June, SC candidates who missed this deadline can register for 2023 May/June SC from 1st October 2022 until 31st January 2023.
Candidates are advised to visit the nearest Ministry of Education office in their area to inquire about the results or make any other inquiries related to the exam.
